A fundraiser which took place last bonfire night organised by the Blackburn Round Table resulted in a cheque handover to East Lancashire Hospice for £750. The event took place at the Golden Cup pub on Blackburn Road in Darwen and was just one of the events on the Blackburn Round Table’s social calendar.
Watson Ramsbottom Director Elton Ashworth who is the current Chairman of the Blackburn Round Table – pictured centre below in the photo from the Lancashire Telegraph – said ” The Blackburn Round Table is a great organisation to be involved with and ideal for anyone wanting to get involved with the local communities in and around Blackburn, Darwen and Accrington.
