New Software Causing Probate Delays

Peter Roberts Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors

Peter Roberts Watson Ramsbottom SolicitorsSenior Probate Executive, Peter Roberts, would like to make current and potential clients aware that the installation of new software designed to speed up the granting of probate, from the Probate Registry, has had the opposite effect because of teething problems.

The average time needed for probate to be granted by the Probate Registry has increased from about ten days to six weeks or more, and in some cases the grant of probate can take up to three months.

This will not affect any current and upcoming appointments you may have with Peter. He also advises that if you would like an appointment to see Peter it is better to do it sooner rather than later to avoid further delays.

You can arrange a consultation with Peter by calling 01254 70 11 11, or alternatively complete our Contact Us form and one of our expert advisors will contact you.
