Here at Watson Ramsbottom, we take pride in enabling our staff to develop their skills , through having worked closely with some of our experts.
We’re proud that the below staff are now at a position to take that step up.
Charlotte Boaler-Swift – Conveyancing Executive
Charlotte originally gained her degree in Sociology (BAHons) before converting to Law at Manchester metropolitan university, where she completed her LPC.
Charlotte started her Legal Career at Keoghs LLP working as a litigation assistant as part of the Part 8 MOJ Motor team.
Deciding on a change, she joined Watson Ramsbottom as a conveyancing assistant in March 2022 before progressing to a conveyancing executive in January 2023.
Lewis Harris – Conveyancing Executive
lewis initially joined in 2020 as part of our Post Completion department before becoming an Assistant to Ben Ashworth at our Darwen office in the summer of 2021.
Lewis was made Executive in January 2023.
Prior to joining us here, Lewis had graduated with a Degree in Criminal Psychology from Leeds University in 2020.
Outside of work, Lewis enjoys participating in 5 a side football, darts and snooker, as well as supporting Blackburn Rovers.
Olivia Dawson – Conveyancing Executive
After leaving Stonyhurst College in 2013, Olivia went on to complete her LLB Law Degree in 2018. After working in events management for some years, she began working in the legal sector, specifically dealing with Conveyancing matters, in October 2020. Olivia joined Watson Ramsbottom in February 2022 and Is now currently studying for her LPC and Masters Degree.
Olivia hopes to be qualified as a Solicitor in the near future.
In January 2023, Olivia was made Conveyancing Executive, working at our Darwen office.
Outside of work, she enjoy spending time with her partner, family and friends and walking her English Bulldog, Aldo!
Laura Lord – Re-Mortgage Executive
Before joining WR, Laura worked as a manager at a nursery for 6 years, but opted for a new challenge and decided to move into Conveyancing, starting off in the re-mortgage team as an assistant in May 2020.
Having enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills, Laura undertook several training courses and has now worked up to a position to be a fee earner dealing with her own case load
In her spare time, she looks after her two young children, enjoying days out and lots of swimming.
Daniel Watson – Litigation Paralegal
Daniel studied Law LLB at Manchester Metropolitan University achieving a first.
After completing his time at University, he joined the Risk & Compliance team at our Darwen office in September 2021 before moving to our Blackburn office to join Dispute resolution team as a paralegal working alongside David Watson which causes a lot of confusion!
Daniel is a regular gym goer and music fan, having played guitar from an early age, although more recently teaching himself to DJ at Uni. He also takes pride in following Burnley FC, whilst taking an interest in the UFC and boxing.
