Carrie joined us in October 2020 working initially as a paralegal before becoming a Trainee Solicitor in our family department.

Having completed her LLB in 2019 at the University of Chester, Carrie worked part time as a paralegal at a practice in Manchester within their continuing healthcare and personal injury teams, whilst studying for her LPC at the University of Law.

In her Masters dissertation she focused on the effects of Surrogacy law and the changes to Parental Orders for people who are not biologically related to a child and wish to be a single parent.

During her LPC, Carrie worked as a volunteer in the university’s Family Law clinic working with families who needed urgent advice and support.

Having joined us in our family department, Carrie is specialising in Domestic Violence and Children, making applications for legal aid, meeting with clients, and dealing with general enquiries.
