Kalya Parker-Livesy

Kalya achieved her Law Degree in 2015 and completed her Legal Practice Course in 2017. Whilst studying for the Legal Practice Course, Kalya completed a dissertation analysing the effectiveness of the law and legal practice in relation to child sexual abuse and exploitation which enabled Kalya to obtain a Master’s Degree in Law and Legal Practice.

Kalya has worked 12 months as a volunteer at the Personal Support Unit at Preston Combined Court Centre where she addressed family disputes such as non-molestation and child arrangement orders. She joined Watson Ramsbottom in 2017 and began her training contract in December 2018, completing this in June 2020.

Kalya works within our domestic violence and children law team in Blackburn.
