Maajid Jamil joined our Family department at our Blackburn office on Monday 20th June 2022. He joins as a Paralegal after leaving his role at Wigan LA, in which he assisted fee earners on a variety of child social care matters as well as overseeing his own files. This role, as well as his time spent with ‘Mind’ in Salford, and ‘Quest Legal Advocates’ have given Maajid a breadth of experience in the below fields… Care, DoLS, Discharge of care orders, s7/s37 reports, Providing advice for social workers & representing clients before judges. Prior to starting his career, Maajid attained his LLB Law Degree at the University of Manchester from 2014-2017 before completing his masters BPTC and LLM combined course from 2017-2019. Outside of work, Maajid enjoys watching combat sports, in particular MMA. He’s also a supporter of Amateur boxing within his local community and attending amateur shows when he can.
