My partner and I were in the process purchasing a house while selling our own. Maxine Jones from Watson Ramsbottom was handling the purchase of our new home and performed very well. She kept us updated, explained the process and was always available for a phone call or at the very least would respond promptly to emails.

Sadly the firm handling the sale of our old house were the exact opposite from the excellent service we had received from Watson Ramsbottom. Due to the shoddy service we had received we felt very in the dark with the progress of our sale and were becoming concerned that the sale and purchase would fall through.
Due to the friendly and professional service we received from Maxine at Watson Ramsbottom my partner and I decided to switch to Watson Ramsbottom halfway through the process. Maxine didn’t pressure us to do this and in fact it we were the ones who brought it up with her.

Julie Smith from Watson Ramsbotton then took over the sale of our old house and turned the file around in no time. As with Maxine, Julie was professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgable. She was always contactable and unlike our previous solicitor did not try to get us pursue third parties for queries.

This resulted in the entire process going from a major cause of stress for myself and my partner to as enjoyable as selling house can be. Julie and Maxine really saved the transaction and my only regret is we did not go with Watson Ramsbottom initially.

Watson Ramsbottom kept us in the loop and managed our expectations well. Maxine and Julie knew what they were talking about and were excellent advocates for us in this transaction.
