Wendy Wharton

Family Legal Executive

Wendy joined our Family department at our Steele & Son office in Clitheroe in November 2022, where she works as a Legal Executive!

Previously working for MG Legal as the head of Family Private Law as well as spending eight years at Ratcliffe & Bibby where she covered all private law matters and public law, in addition to privately paid clients and legally aided.

Wendy’s main roles here are helping build the family department at our Clitheroe office, whilst covering most aspects of family law and providing support to the department when required.

Wendy is also a member of Resolution Advocate, and has gained qualifications from Higher Rights of Audience & Cilex.

Outside of work, Wendy loves the outdoors and making the most of her motorhome, in addition to spending time with her grandkids and pet beagle & African Grey Parrot.

She’s also very proud to provide support to her local community in her hometown of Morecambe, through being a councillor. Wendy is also ex-Army so may have a few tricks up her sleeve!
