Watson Ramsbottom Celebrate International Women’s Day 2024

At Watson Ramsbottom, we’re proud to have some amazing women within our ranks and are delighted that this date is used to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide.

International Women’s Day takes place each year on 8th March and not only celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, but also importantly marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Campaigning around International Women’s Day receives global support.

The Watson Ramsbottom Family Law department has gained widespread national recognition for ground-breaking work it does day to day in helping women empower themselves, taking positive action to escape from often desperate and dangerous situations and giving themselves and their children brighter, more positive futures.

Our team assist those facing domestic abuse, coercive control, forced marriage and honour based violence, FGM, stalking, harassment and cyberstalking. More details of the department’s specialist work can be seen here.

In the video below, Head of our Family department, Director and Solicitor Rachel Horman Brown discusses what International Women’s Day means to her, as well as some of the work she does with charities & highlights the importance of the work her team does.
