Watson Ramsbottom are delighted to announce that Director Rachel Horman has been shortlisted for the national Family Law Awards in the Family Partner of the Year Category.
Having won the national Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Award in 2012, Rachel is nationally renowned for her family law expertise, particularly the areas of domestic violence, stalking and forced marriage in which she specialises. In addition to regular national media appearances discussing abuse cases, she has been invited to sit on two All Party Parliamentary Groups for Stalking and Harassment and Domestic Violence and recently also joined the board of Paladin, the National Stalking Advocacy Service.
The Family Law Partner of the Year Award for which she has been shortlisted seeks to recognise the individual who the judges believe has made a major contribution to the field of family law through their practice, and shown that they have executed a strategic vision through outstanding leadership.
Watson Ramsbottom Managing Director Philip Thompson said ‘ everyone who knows Rachel will be aware of her enthusiasm and total commitment to her work – it will come as no surprise to her many clients, colleagues and peers that she is receiving such deserved recognition.
The award winner will be announced at the Family Law Awards ceremony in London on Wednesday 8th October.
