Watson Ramsbottom are delighted to announce that we are continuing our support to Blackburn Rovers Football Club by becoming the headline sponsor for the Women’s teams for the 2018-19 season.
Our branding will be on the front of both home and away shirts for the women’s team, whilst continuing to be on the rear of the men’s team shirt.
Stuart Maher, Director and Solicitor, is delighted to be extending our links with the club and is hoping for a bright future together for both parties.
“We’re a high street practice and the deal represents a first for us through shirt sponsorship,” he said.
“There are plenty of Rovers fans working for us and we’re all delighted to join forces with the club. The club have the makings and the mentality to get to the very top after an unfortunate ruling effectively denied them promotion last year.
“It’s a club on the rise and we are hoping our partnership can help the team to build on the success from last season where the ladies won an unprecedented treble, winning the FA Women’s Premier League Cup, Lancashire FA Women’s Challenge Cup and the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division which was retained for 2nd season.
“We are proud to be both associated and sponsoring Blackburn Rovers Ladies in their efforts for the 2018-2019 season. Through the sponsorship, we are delighted that we can support the aims of the team going forward. This is an excellent opportunity to support both Ladies football and football within our local area. We all wish the Ladies all the best for the season!”
“We’re looking forward to developing that relationship with not just the club but also with the local area.”
Rovers Ladies Chief Gemma Donnelly is thrilled with the link-up, saying: “It’s brilliant that we will have a front of shirt sponsor for what we hope will be another successful campaign.
“This will be our second successive season of having a sponsor and we’re thrilled to be backed by a local business in Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors.
“We thank them for their support, and of course we will be aiming to do them proud during the campaign.”
