Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors Announce Promotion of Four New Associates

Watson Ramsbottom are delighted to announce the appointment of four new Associates from within the firm.

  • Danielle Wane – Wills, Probate & Private Client Law – Darwen Office

have all been promoted to Associate level, reflecting their individual and combined contributions to the practice and its clients over a number of years.

Dana McIlwaine

Dana McIlwaine is an experienced Residential Property Solicitor who joined the Watson Ramsbottom Property Team in 2014.

Dana deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing and has specific expertise in sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, assents, transfers of equity and right-to-buy and shared ownership conveyancing.

Michelle Whitaker

Michelle Whitaker represents parents in a wide variety of private and public law cases concerning children and specialises in representing parents and other family members in care proceedings.

Michelle qualified as a solicitor in 2005. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in domestic abuse and private law children. She is a supervisor in the family department.

Sophia Isa

Sophia Isa is a solicitor specialising in cases involving disputes in respect of the living and contact arrangements for children. Over the past year, she has enjoyed a growing practice in international children law cases.

Sophia qualified as a solicitor in 2006. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour based violence and is a supervisor within our Family Department.

Danielle Wane

Danielle Wane qualified as a Solicitor in September 2012. For four years she dealt with civil, commercial and personal injury claims. Including contentious probate, occupational disease and NHS retrospective and continuing healthcare funding claims for Nursing Home fees.

Danielle joined the Private Client team in November 2016. She deals with all matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, Probate and Estate Administration.
