Watson Ramsbottom Limited has celebrated record-breaking growth over the past two years with a raft of appointments of new Directors, Senior Associates and Associate Solicitors.
Two New Directors
Our new Director appointments see Suzanne Moore join Managing Director Elton Ashworth and Graham Quinn in the Property team, whilst Sophia Isa joins Rachel Horman-Brown and Stephanie Pollitt in our nationally-renowned family law department.
Suzanne Moore joined the practice in March 2020 and quickly established herself as a senior figure in what has grown to be one of the busiest conveyancing practices in the North of England.
The new role will see Suzanne utilise her skills and help further develop our Chorley operations following the acquisition of Quinn & Co Solicitors in January 2021.
Sophia Isa joined the practice in November 2006 and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour based violence and is a supervisor within our Family Department.
Her appointment to the board of Directors will support the continued growth of our family department as part of the wider development of our service offering across the UK from our traditional East Lancashire base.
Managing Director Elton Ashworth commented: ‘These new appointments reflect significantly increased client demand which is driving Watson Ramsbottom’s success. Suzanne & Sophia’s exceptional knowledge and expertise further strengthen our senior management team at a time of continued expansion. ‘
‘The growth within the business has seen staff numbers rise to over 180 from just 100 staff 3 years ago, supported by our expansion into Pontefract with the acquisition of Carters Solicitors in September 2020, and into Chorley with the acquisition of Quinn & Co Solicitors in January 2021.’
‘In that same 3 year period we have seen turnover more than double to exceed £8,000,000 in 2020/21 and the significant growth continues into 2022.’
‘We are delighted to have Suzanne & Sophia join our talented team of leaders to help continue our ambitious development plan’
